ABATE of

MONTANA

ABATE of Montana is a non-profit organization of motorcycle enthusiasts from all walks of life. We are
committed to protect and promote the interest of the motorcycle community. ABATE of Montana
works to preserve and safeguard the individual rights and liberties of all riders. We endeavor to enlist
the cooperation and participation of all organizations and individuals that share a similar interest in
preserving our American tradition of FREEDOM.

We are your neighbors and friends who work, pay taxes, and get involved with our community. We
serve and support our country and believe in freedom. We use all legal means to protect our rights
without infringing on the rights of others.

Current Operations – Educational Fund

ABATE of Montana promotes motorcycle safety, training and public awareness. Funds are raised
through toy runs, poker runs, raffles, special events and other motorcycle activities, which are then used for donation to a broad and diverse range of charities such as Food Share, TV’s for Vets, Toys for Tots, Angel Fund, Salvation Army, Injured/Deceased riders and Wounded Warrior Project, to name of few, as well as helping the many local communities with much needed clothing and toys.

ABATE of Montana continues to sponsor scholarships for Motorcycle Safety classes, basic and advanced; provide educational materials for use in the school systems for Driver’s Education Classes (DVD and PowerPoint presentations); sponsor contests for students in the school systems to create motorcycle safety and awareness posters with the winning poster featured on our safety and awareness billboards.

In 2012 ABATE of Montana hosted the Motorcycle Rider Foundation Best of The West Conference. It
was a great success and a valuable learning experience for Montana riders as well as the many other
motorcycle enthusiast. This conference would not have been possible if not for the use of the education fund.

ABATE of Montana does not use education funds for administrative or operational costs.
